This is a Cleo Skribent Secundus model fountain pen from 2005. The Secundus was the all black classic model of the new generation of Skribent pens, introduced in 2003. The cap and barrel are black synthetic resin with gold plated trim and has a matching color section. There are two gold plated cap bands, one 1/16 and one 5/16 inch wide stamped "CLEO SKRIBENT" twice around. The barrel has one 1/32 inch gold plated band and platinum plated end cap. The cap is topped with a faceted clear plastic square jewel. It has a two-tone platinum plated solid 18 karat gold nib hallmarked with "CLEO" over "SKRIBENT" over "18K" and single letter nib grade marking. The 5 3/4 inches long pen is a cartridge / converter filler using international type cartridges. Retail price in 2005 was approximately $300 for the fountain pen, $265 for the matching capped rollerball pen, $200 for the twist action ballpoint pen and $200.00 for the twist action 0.7mm pencil.

This is a Travelers Pen Company fountain pen in a gray marbled celluloid c. 1930s. It's a 5 inches long lever fill fountain pen with a cap and barrel made from a celluloid strip wound in a spiral pattern tube and then finished into the final shape. The stainless steel "Durium" nib and trim was all lightly 14 karat gold plated, which easily wears or polishes off. This model was made in several other colors. There are no cap and barrel stampings. It has TRAVELER stamped on the clip. The fine stainless steel nib is stamped WARRANTED over DURIUM TIPPED over 14K, though the nib was gold plated steel, not gold, and most of the plating is worn off.

This is a Travelers Pen Company fountain pen in a gray marbled celluloid c. 1930s. It's a 5 inches long lever fill fountain pen with a cap and barrel made from a celluloid strip wound in a spiral pattern tube and then finished into the final shape. The stainless steel "Durium" nib and trim was all lightly 14 karat gold plated, which easily wears or polishes off. This model was made in several other colors. There are no cap and barrel stampings. It has TRAVELER stamped on the clip. The fine stainless steel nib is stamped WARRANTED over DURIUM TIPPED over 14K, though the nib was gold plated steel, not gold, and most of the plating is worn off.
